Space (Modern Poem)

In this dark space
Breathing is like a hard labor
Life is exhausting

Honestly
I don’t get it
Endless tension
Pulsing heart
Is this perhaps
The famous regret?

Last full moon
When I blessed you with space
I kissed you long
I wrapped you tight
Cherished every breath and warmth
Before I took them from you

You were beautiful
When your glistening eyes met mine
With moon-reflected   tears
Gracefully, I whispered
'Be grateful, for this space'
'The one before you hasn't yet left'

I love it
When your little fingers scratched
When your color switched to blue
From the sickening pink
And best of all
When it turned silent

Right!
I recognize this splinter
I don't have enough space in my backyard

xxxxxxx

I knew
This polite man's wicked intention
I saw
This gentleman's hidden snicker
I heard
This refines man's silent warn

But I can't reach twig
And fall deep
For his charms is far superior

That night
He spoke of himself
Giving me space I never asked
I was envious
Lucky her
She stayed longer
-black-

Now
I wonder where is she
I am delightful
The earth hasn't accepted me yet
And thanks to heaven through these crevices
I can still have him
Within my space
