Falling

 

Man! Falling was crazy 

It happens when no one looks 

When one heart is unguarded. 

It is heavy to be carried. 

To be performed. 

Alas, it isn't as it seems

Deep down, one knows. 

Love never is 

Compliance, more like it

Desire overrides the feeling

Falling isn't real 

It just feels like it is

Honesty is real 

Responsibilities are loud and clear 

At the back while chained

Shouted warning

For the heart to give mercy

To not fall just yet 

Love is for the fool

As feeling is duty 

When duty isn't fulfilled 

One is convicted of evil names.

Unfortunately loves change

And no one dares to admit

Respect stays longer 

Curiosity prevails 

Against all odds

As time is a strong detergent 

It washed away all 

Even passion and guilt.
